George Clooney Classes Up the Costume Institute Gala

He turns 47 today (Happy Birthday George!) and George Clooney has definitely gotten even better-looking with age.  And last night he was all about squiring his girlfriend Sarah Larson to the Costume Institute Gala.

The “Oceans Thirteen” stud was dressed to impress, sporting an elegant black tuxedo, while his lady friend wore a corresponding black-with-white-beads evening gown for the “Superheroes: Fantasy and Fashion” gig.

Stars Turn Out For 2008 Costume Institute Gala

In the entertainment business all eyes were on New York City, as celebrities turned out in the droves to attend the star-studded Costume Institute gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Tuesday night (May 5).

Drawing the likes of Katie Holmes, Gisele Bundchen and their Tom’s, along with Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez and many more, the Costume Institute gala was put on by Vogue magazine.

George and Renee Premiere Leatherheads in London

Hollywood stars George Clooney and Renee Zellweger attended the red carpet London premiere of their new film, Leatherheads, on Tuesday (April 8).

Clooney directed and stars in the film, which is set in the world of 1920’s American football. Zellweger plays a news reporter caught in a love triangle with Clooney’s football hero character.

George Clooney and Cindy Crawford: Dinner Mates

They were both in town earlier this week for the premiere of the new movie “Leatherheads” and it seems that George Clooney and Cindy Crawford (joined by Cindy’s hubby Rande Gerber) needed more time to catch up.

The famous trio was spotted at Allen & Delancy last night grabbing dinner and enjoying each other’s company.  And when you get three people this good looking together, there’s no telling what might happen.

It’s one of the most anticipated movies of the spring season, and last night “Leatherheads” had a star-studded premeired at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
