Making for quite the spectacular evening, the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards saw “The Dark Knight” pull off a clean sweep, raking in all five awards for which it was nominated. The stars are out on the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, as the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards are almost underway. Among those in the crowd were “Desperate Housewives” actresses Teri Hatcher and Nicollette Sheridan, along with “The Office” actress Jenna Fischer and the night’s hosts, among others.

In the last page of a painful chapter in her life, Teri Hatcher’s uncle- the one she put behind bars for molestation- has died at 70 years old.
