Jennifer Hudson Plans a Canine Wedding

It’s no secret that celebrities love their dogs. And Jennifer Hudson is taking this love one step further by having her three furry friends at her wedding.

Although the date of the nuptials has not been released as of yet, the singer plans to marry Harvard Law grad and reality show star, David Otunga, and her three dog’s, Oscar, Grammy and Dreamgirl will be a part of the ceremony.

When three of her family members were murdered last year, Jennifer Hudson decided to put her wedding plans on hold.  And now she’s announced that she is moving forward with preparations to marry fiancé David Otunga.

The 25-year-old songstress recently told “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest that she has even set a date for her nuptials.  “Yeah, but it’s a secret.  I can’t tell anybody.”

Returning to the show that kickstarted her career, Jennifer Hudson will be on “American Idol” Wednesday night (March 25), but not while the television show is on air.

The singer and Idol alum will be performing for the audience after the show airs, as the special moment of the star singing will then appear on a later date.

Ever since she reemerged at the Super Bowl earlier this month, Jennifer Hudson has been consistently reclaiming her spot at the top of the R&B scene. 

And earlier tonight at the 2009 Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Miss Hudson took home the Best R&B Album trophy.  And it appeared she was at a loss for words.
