Dr Dre Signed Eminem On “Gut Feeling”

If rap star/producer Dr Dre had listened to his boys, the world might be without Eminem.  Can you imagine a world without hilarious parody videos, constant drama, and duets with Elton John?  Eminem has been prolific in the world of hip hop, but he almost wasn’t.

All signs pointed to saying “no” to Em, says a biography about Dr Dre.  Penned by Ronin Ro, ‘Dr. Dre: The Biography’ reveals that the rap producer reckoned the singer to be a black man when he first heard ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ and ‘Murder Murder’ on a demo tape, and arranged a meeting with Eminem in his home studio the very next day. It also reveals that Eminem was criticized for his blond looks when he appeared for an audition in Dre’s office.

Eminem’s Working Overtime

After deciding to overturn his decision to call it quits, Eminem has been rumored to be back in the studio, working on two big projects due out this year.

It has been announced that D12 will be releasing their third (and possibly final… which has been disputed) album in June.

“Much of the delay was due to the death of D12 member, Proof in 2006. Eminem has a tattoo which reads ‘Proof’, the nickname for his best friend DeShaun Dupree Holton, tragically shot and killed in April 2006. Proof was also the founding member of the collective group, based on Eminem’s record label,” according to Tranzfusion.

Eminem May Eat Show Cancellation Decision

Eminem has been forced to answer for actions taken nearly two long years ago, when the Detroit-raised rapper failed to appear for a show in Ireland back in September of 2005.

Superstar Eminem canceled the Slane Castle event just weeks before it happened, forcing the Irish show promoter to get stuck with the bill.

Eminem Responds To Kim’s Attacks

Eminem and ex-Kim Mathers are not unfamiliar with public spats. Until recently, it seemed as if the two had decided to keep their matters private. That has all changed ever since Akon falsely announced that the two were engaged… for a third time.

As reported earlier by The Gossip Girls, Eminem’s ex-wife reopened the war of words between the two this past Friday, when she described Em as unfaithful, uncaring, and to blame for her suicide attempts. While speaking to Detroit’s Channel 955, Kim Mathers said she was “100% sure” she would never get back with the hip-hop icon, whom she re-married in January and re-divorced in December 2006.

Kim Mathers, the two time ex-wife of Eminem, spilled a lot of personal info on a tv interview with Dr. Keith Ablow that is set to air Friday February 16th. Kim dished on everything from her attempted suicide to Eminem’s mother.

Kim placed blame on Eminem for her attempted suicide. After going to one of her husband’s concerts, she said that she was shocked to see Eminem’s public display of hatred toward her and the audience’s positive response to it. “He was singing a song that was about me and he had a blow-up doll up on stage that looked like me and he was physically beating it and kicking it,” says Kim, “Seeing the crowd response and everybody cheering, singing the words and laughing ... I knew that it was about me, and that night I went home and I tried to commit suicide.”
