When it comes to spending money and looking fabulous, Lauren Conrad seems to have the corner on the market.  She was spotted yesterday in West Hollywood doing both.

The “Hills” starlet was joined by her handsome pal Gary, dressed in a white button-down shirt and a pair of vintage jeans.

There’s nothing like having one of your own in one of the biggest fashion festivals on the West Coast.  And when Lauren Conrad showed off her new collection at the Mercedes Benz 2008 Los Angeles Fashion Week yesterday, her girls were supporting her from the audience.

But if you were hoping to see LC’s big day on the upcoming season of “The Hills” don’t hold your breath.  According to Conrad, she prefers to keep her reality show career far away from her designer aspirations.

In what’s been a busy day for Lauren Conrad, the Hills hottie made all the necessary last minute preparations for her big fashion show debut.

To start things off, LC was spotted getting her hair done at the Warren Tricomi hair salon on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood on Tuesday (March 11).

Sure, she’s the cute and quasi-innocent designer wannabe we all know and love from “The Hills.” But Lauren Conrad has her sights set much higher, and she’s taking the necessary steps to achieve her aspirations.

Yesterday, she was spotted along with pal Whitney Port at the Orthodox Fall 2008 collection show as part of Los Angeles Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  And come Tuesday, the spectators at Fashion Week will get an eyeful of LC’s creations.

Lauren Conrad Stocks Up at Ikea

Spending much of their time side-by-side as of late, MTV stars Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth spent Saturday afternoon grabbing lunch and getting in a bit of shopping.

The Hills starlets started things off by heading over to the popular Urth Cafe in West Hollywood, getting their lunch on with a fellow female friend.
