Poker has become a wildly popular phenomenon among celebrities in recent years, both in light-hearted TV shows like “The Celebrity Poker Showdown,” as well as in real tournaments such as the WSOP (World Series of Poker).
Hollywood actresses such as Jennifer Tilly and Shannon Elizabeth are taking poker quite seriously. Tilly has played on a professional level and lives together with famous pro Phil “Unabomber” Laak.

Sexy Stars Hit Kari Feinstein’s Style Lounge
While the major festivities don’t get underway until this Sunday evening, the 2008 MTV Movie Awards pre-parties have already started out in Los Angeles, California.
On Thursday afternoon, stars including Christina Milian and Shannon Elizabeth were among those in attendance at the always-popular Kari Feinstein MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge.

Paris, Kathy, Nicky Hilton Race to Erase MS
When it comes to charity benefit galas, they don’t get much more celebrity-laden than the 15th Annual Race to Erase MS event that was held yesterday (May 2).
All three Hilton ladies (Paris, Nicky and mom Kathy) made an appearance at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City to benefit the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis.

Shannon Elizabeth’s Dancing Disappointment
Their run on reality television came to an end last night, as Shannon Elizabeth and partner Derek Hough were voted off of Dancing with the Stars.
“The show has been amazing. I’ve learned a lot,” Shannon said following the elimination. “I’ve made a friend for life, and hopefully a bunch of friends for life, and I’ll be here to support everyone as much as I can.”

Wearing a lovely red evening dress, Shannon Elizabeth hit the red carpet on Thursday night for the world premiere of “Deal”.
The event was held at Brenden Theatres inside of The Palms Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
