Kate Winslet Wins SAG Best Supporting Actress
She’s been a dominant player in this year’s awards show season, and Kate Winslet was geared up to take home a little more hardware at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The “Revolutionary Road” beauty took to the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (January 25), looking fabulous in a lovely blue gown.

Kate Winslet Presented Montecito Award
Continuing along on the road to the Oscars, Kate Winslet was on hand for the 24th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival in Santa Barbara, California on Friday night (January 23).
The “Titanic” temptress lit up the Arlington Theatre, wearing a sexy black body-hugging dress with white accents, her hair loosely pulled back in a knot and minimal makeup.

Kate Winslet: “Extremely Happy” Over Oscar Bid
Quick to speak up about her just-announced Oscar nomination, Kate Winslet is “thrilled” to be one of the names in the Best Actress category during this year’s Academy Awards ceremony on February 22.
“I’m extremely happy to have been nominated. And very fortunate,” Kate told press in a statement released after her nomination was announced. “Playing Hanna Schmitz will always remain one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever been blessed with.”

Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio: UK Revolutionary Road
Promoting their Golden Globe-winning film in the UK, Kate Winslet walked the red carpet alongside Leonardo DiCaprio at the premiere of “Revolutionary Road” on Sunday evening (January 18).
Held in London’s Leicester Square, the “Titanic” co-stars posed for photographers before heading inside to check out their Sam Mendes directed romantic drama.

Kate Winslet’s Breasts: Praised by Oprah
On yesterdays’ “Oprah,” Kate Winslet was a guest, and before her interview was over, Oprah Winfrey had a very interesting compliment for the “Revolutionary Road” actress.
The talk show queen said, “I love the fact that you have real breasts, ‘cause in all the breast scenes, your breasts do what real breasts do.”
