Kate Winslet: Hanging in Times Square

We’re used to seeing her in her Mother England, but as of late Kate Winslet has been spending time the United States.  And Sunday (October 5), the paparazzi caught up to her spending time in Times Square on her 33rd birthday.

The “Titanic” actress looked to be having a marvelous time hanging out with her husband Sam Mendes and a few friends while enjoying the early fall weather.

Taking a page out of Heidi Klum’s mothering book, Kate Winslet was spotted picking up her daughter Mia from school yesterday, along with her ex-husband Jim Threapleton.

The “Titanic” actress looked blissful as she walked around New York City with her daughter on one side, and her son on the other.

Kate Winslet was all smiles as she made her way out of Teleg Airport and into an awaiting car in Berlin over the weekend.

Signing autographs for gathered fans along the way, the Titanic beauty will be staying in Germany for the filming of her new movie, “The Reader”.

They make loads of money and live in the lap of luxury, so it’s always nice to see celebrities giving back to the community and helping the less-fortunate.  And Kate Winslet showed her charitable colors last night at the Cardboard Citizens Dinner.

The event was held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in England’s capital city of London.  And this British babe was turning heads everywhere she went.

Stars Show For National Board of Review Awards

It’s a very precarious time in Hollywood these days.  With the writers’ strike still marching on, celebrities are getting a little cabin fever, so to speak, with regard to awards shows.  And with the Golden Globe cancellation this past weekend, Hollywood’s elite are desperate for exposure.

Last night, the National Board of Review held their awards ceremony, honoring greatness in Hollywood productions.  And the A-list of celebrities in attendance was a welcome change from the recent writers’ strike drought.
