Paycheck

Paycheck, starring Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman and Aaron Eckhart was supposed to be a high-energy action packed thriller but it had a few holes, unbelieveable plots and it just sort of struggled all the way through.

Unfortunately, seeing Ben Affleck as a geeky-genius type just didn’t cut it for me. I know it’s a movie role, but Ben is was just so overexposed this year that his role was just not believable.  I’ve seen some reviews saying that Uma Thurman was great, but honestly the movie didn’t give her a great chance to shine. (She looks to me to have aged quite a bit since her Gattaca days.)

Again, I had high hopes for the movie and was let down. This is pretty common these days. To be honest, when I left the theatre I had a pounding headache as well.

Really Bad Santa

Bad Santa Movie starring Billy Bob Thornton, Lauren Graham, John Ritter, Bernie Mac and more! Have you seen this? I haven’t laughed so much in a long long time. OMG it was raunchy, yet funny.. and heartbreaking all at the same time. I was almost shocked to see sweet Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) as a bad girl. Her F$$$ me Santa lines had me almost cringing lol. And the Billy Bob Thronton Santa (aka alcoholic, dirty, no good loser) makes me want to keep my kid away from the Mall Santa Claus!!!

Billy Bob lives up to his usual self, I saw him on Sharon Osbourne’s show the other day and he kind of grossed me out saying that he wanted to actually piss himself for the movie??!! Something tells me he didn’t have to act too hard for this role. I was shocked that the talents of John Ritter and Bernie Mac weren’t used to their full potential, they seemed to have rather bland roles in the movie. Like, why have them if they can’t have really good roles? I mean anyone could have played them.. but hey that’s just my opinion. (it was sad to see John Ritter in the movie knowing that this was his last movie ever)

Now, about that little boy, Thurman Merman (played by Brett Kelly), oh my gosh I felt so bad for him.. and then at the same time I was thinking, “Oh my gosh what parent in their right mind would allow their poor child to be in this moving playing this role??????????” I really question their judgement, this was definitely not a movie for a kid to see, the poor little guy was overweight and made fun of which would be enough to give the poor kid a complex and scar him for life.. I don’t know. I really don’t understand the whole “Hollywood” thing sometimes. Sure it’s funny, sure it’s a movie… but it’s twisted sick humor.

After watching Bad Santa, I left the movie theater feeling dirty. lol

Have you seen it? I’d love to hear what you think of it. Did you like it? Did it shock you? Gross you out?

Shany24Paws comments on: Chris Weitz Unfazed by Bad “New Moon” Reviews

rolleyesJenna B is obviously a douch!!! KUDOS to Chris Weitz & crew who did an AMAZING job!!!! (Including the cast of fairly new actors). questionWhats more important, what the zippercritics think or what the smilefans think? Of course it’s what the fans think. Afterall, fans are the force behind the entertainment industry. My TEEN BOYS & I have seen it twice & will go see it again. surprisedWe loved the wolves, couldn’t take our eyes off the screen. (not because they are shirtless, when they are in wolf form). So if you don’t like my opinion, vampireBITE ME!!! I really don’t give a F***!!!! People were talking during the movie making comments on the movie & comparing the movie to the book. Most people were amazed @ how much truer New Moon was to the book than Twilight was. I like how the movie has a bit of everything in it. Yes, it is depressing, yet funny & action packed. GREAT MOVIE!!!! Good job everyone involved. KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!
Tons of Twi Love cool smile
