Mischa Barton: A High School Loner

Mischa Barton was in high spirits as she was spotted leaving the celebrity-popular Joan’s on Third restaurant in Los Angeles on Monday, following it up with a shopping trip to Scout in West Hollywood.

The former star of the OC is back home after a recent trip to the Sundance film festival to promote her new movie, Assassination of a High School President, in which she plays the “popular girl” in high school.

Upon her return from Park City, Utah’s Sundance Film Festival, Mischa Barton seems to have taken an interest in laying low.  And with her recent legal woes, it may be a good thing.

The O.C. babe was spotted out shopping in Los Angeles, California yesterday (the day after her 22nd birthday), and among her finds was the new game Guitar Hero.

It’s almost as if her DUI arrest was millenniums ago, as Mischa Barton has successfully won the hearts and praise of the Sundance Film Festival goers.

She arrived in Park City, Utah yesterday from Los Angeles, California looking hippie-chic and hamming it up for the cameras.

She’s planning every move carefully these days, and Mischa Barton is getting out of Los Angeles for a bit in favor of taking in a few films at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

The O.C. babe was spotted leaving LAX bound for Park City, Utah yesterday.  And from the looks of it, she was all gussied up ready to have a good time.

Mischa Barton Talks DUI

As a follow up to the Gossip Girls story on Mischa Barton’s DUI arrest last month, the OC actress is owning up to her careless actions.

Earlier today, Barton told Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, “Obviously I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case.  I’m really disappointed in myself. I don’t know what to say about it, except that I’m not perfect, and I just don’t ever intend to do something this stupid again.”
