Ever since she announced her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn Spears has been laying low in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.  And earlier this week, some crafty paparazzi tracked her down.

The 16-year-old actress was spotted all over town with her mother Lynne.  They reportedly cruised around running errands and doing a bit of shopping.

Fading from the spotlight after her pregnancy announcement, Jamie Lynn Spears is making the news again for reasons actually worth noting.  The 16-year-old Zoey 101 star is getting a jump on her education by passing her GED.

Spears passed her high school equivalency exam just under a month ago, and is planning on taking the ACTs to apply for college.  This move would put the Nickelodeon star ahead of the average student by only being 17 years old when she could theoretically start college classes.

With her first child well on the way, Jamie-Lynn Spears was spotted all over Kentwood, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon (February 16).

To start things off, the “Zoey 101” actress headed over to the mall for some purchases, then making her way to Wal-Mart, where she picked up puppy “training pads”.
