Eva Says “No Gay Beckham For Desperate Housewives”

Nothing says “Welcome to America” like an offer to play a gay neighbor on Desperate Housewives.  But according to Eva Longoria, British import David Beckham won’t be playing the rumored role on her show.

Mrs. Tony Parker quelled rumors that Becks would be teaming up with British pop singer Robbie Williams as the DH’s resident gay couple. 

Victoria Beckham Wants to Stay British

Since David and Victoria Beckham landed in America, they’ve had a lot to get used to.  American paparazzi are much more rabid than any other country’s celebrity watchers.  And David Beckham has taken tips from Tom Cruise on how to handle his celebrity.  But one thing won’t be changing if Victoria Beckham has anything to do with it… their British ways.

She told press, “I really do not want my boys losing their accents. While I love it here in the States, we are not Americans and I want my boys to keep their British accents and roots. It would be unthinkable for them to lose it.”

David Beckham Sidelined For Six Weeks

As reported yesterday by the Gossip Girls, David Beckham was injured again on Wednesday in a match against CF Pachuca Superliga.

In the latest news, initial reports from the team trainers are putting the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer stud on the sideline for at least the next six weeks.

David Beckham Injured After Groin Kick

David Beckham had quite the unpleasant experience last night, getting kicked in the groin by an opposing player and ending up with a sprained right knee.

The incident took place during at the 33rd minute of the first half of the SuperLiga final soccer game at the Home Depot Center. C.F. Pachuca’s Christian Gimenez made an aggressive move against the Galaxy superstar, leading him to fall and injure his knee. “It’s just gone from one thing to another thing,” said a saddened Beckham.

Victoria Beckham’s Happy To Have Friends Around

Victoria Beckham made the move across the pond just a little over a month ago with her soccer star husband David, and it would appear as if the pair have been natives of California for years (minus some of the paparazzi incidents).  Whether Victoria is going out for a cup of coffee or a hard night on the town, A-list celebrities and family constantly surround her.

The Mirror recently quoted Victoria saying: “It’s so great for us all here. The children love the sports and outdoor activities, David loves his new team, and I’m just really happy to be somewhere where I already have friends.”
