Glamour’s Women of the Year

The Lincoln Center in New York City was definitely the place to be last night.  Glamour’s Women of the Year 2007 was in the house, and some big names showed up for the festivities.

Abigail Breslin was named the first ever Girl of the Year.  She’s been a huge hit ever since “Little Miss Sunshine” made its way into theaters.  And with the success of “No Reservations,” Breslin is on her way to a serious career in film.

Mariah Carey Talks Motherhood

She’s sold millions of records, has her own collection of Grammy Awards, and just released her new perfume “M.” But Mariah Carey isn’t nearly finished with her list of accomplishments.

In a recent interview, the “Always Be My Baby” singer detailed the criteria she has for her life prior to having a child.  She said, “If I were to have a child, I would want to be married with a stable family environment.  Not to say that that’s how everybody has to do it.”

Mariah Carey Goes Purple For BET Visit

Doing her best Barney impression, Mariah Carey made an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park yesterday.  She was promoting her new fragrance, and also spoke of her new album, still in the works.

“M” by Mariah Carey was released to the public yesterday, and fans of the singer lined up overnight for a chance to buy the new perfume.

Mariah Carey’s Los Angeles Getaway

Mariah Carey has been spending time in Los Angeles, as she landed in the City of Angels on a private jet late Sunday night.

Keeping things first class, the Say Somethin singer drove around in a Bentley, busily shopping in Beverly Hills, followed up with a trip to high-end restaurant Ago on Monday evening.

Mariah Carey, Bill Clinton Honored By Save The Music

Last night was a big night in the life of pop singer Mariah Carey.  She was honored by VH1’s Save The Music Foundation at their 10th annual gala.

And the “We Belong Together” singer said that the choice to work with the foundation was an obvious one, being that music literally saved her life.  She said, “Music has always been my saving grace.  Like everyone growing up, my life wasn’t easy.  I don’t always like to talk about it in great detail, but music saved my life literally. Writing songs and singing is so therapeutic for me.”
