Monday, January 12, 2009 Heath Ledger Honored at Golden Globes
It’s been almost a year since his tragic death, and last night Heath Ledger was honored for his amazing work in “The Dark Knight” with a Best Supporting Actor trophy at the Golden Globe Awards. Director Christopher Nolan accepted the award for his late friend/colleague, telling the audience, “On behalf of all of us who worked with Heath on Dark Knight, I accept this with mix of sadness and incredible pride. He will be eternally missed but he will never be forgotten.”

permalink Thursday, January 08, 2009 Christian Bale Dedicates Award to Heath Ledger
It’s no secret that “The Dark Knight” was one of the most amazing movie sensations in recent history. And at last night’s People’s Choice Awards, Christian Bale was in the house to accept plenty of awards for the flick. The “Machinist” actor donned a swanky black pinstriped suit and tie as he meandered around the Shrine Auditorium, looking almost bittersweet that his co-star Heath Ledger couldn’t be there with him to bask in the glory of the evening. posted by Kayla at 10:31 AM | (0) comments |

According to an Us Weekly report, the 22-year-old teen heartthrob booed a comedian who said, “Here’s my impression of Heath Ledger,” before falling to the ground while faking convulsions. posted by at 04:40 PM | (3) comments |
