Britney Spears: “No One Ever Really Dies”

While various celebrities have had their own respective ways of dealing with Heath Ledger’s death, it seems Britney Spears is coping by way of a fake British accent.

Yesterday she was asked by the mob of paparazzi how she felt about the “Brokeback Mountain” actor’s death.  She replied (with her phony accent), “He’s still here. Oh, yes. No one ever really dies. No one.”

Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen: Good Friends

Amid the plethora of reports regarding the death of actor Heath Ledger, it just so happens that Mary-Kate Olsen’s name has been mentioned frequently.  And it turns out the “Full House” actress was very close to the late “Brokeback Mountain” star.

Originally meeting over the summer of 2006 while Heath was living at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, California, Olsen and Ledger became fast friends.  And according to an inside source, it went beyond friendship.

Heath Ledger’s Family Arrives in New York

It’s been a whirlwind week for family, friends, and fans of Heath Ledger.  And as his funeral draws closer, members of the Aussie actor are beginning to arrive in New York City.

According to Funeral Director Dominic Carella, Ledger’s father Kim will be arriving today from Perth, Australia.  He’ll most likely be joined by two of Heath’s uncles, Mike and Hayden Ledger (they were on CBS’s The Early Show via satellite earlier this week).

Heath Ledger’s Uncle Talks

Addressing the sudden death of his nephew, Heath Ledger’s uncle told CBS’ Early Show this morning that Ledger’s passing was “a tragic accident”.

According to Us Weekly reports, when his uncle was asked whether or not “irresponsibility” had anything to do with it, Haydn Ledger replied, “It just wouldn’t come into the equation at all.”

Michelle Williams Returns Home

It’s been a tough couple of days for Michelle Williams.  After hearing about her ex-fiancé Heath Ledger’s death on Tuesday, she rushed back to the US, arriving in New York City yesterday.

The “Dawson’s Creek” star was on location in Sweden with her (and Heath’s) daughter Matilda when she was notified of the tragedy.  She quickly hopped a plane to return to her Brooklyn home last night.
