He’s such a huge movie star he needs his own island, and Johnny Depp recently revealed some of the finer points of Little Hall’s Pond Cay, located in the Bahamas.

The ‘Edward Scissorhands” stud talked with Vanity Fair about his 45-acre paradise explaining, “It’s my way of trying to return to normalcy.  Escapism is survival to me.”

Heath Ledger Wins Best Supporting Actor SAG Award

Raking in yet another posthumous award, Heath Ledger was named as one of the winners during Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Held at the Shrine Auditorium, Heath was named as giving the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of the Joker in “The Dark Knight.”

One Year After Heath Ledger’s Death

Last year, on this day, the whole world was rocked with the news that beloved actor Heath Ledger was gone, the result of an accidental prescription drug overdose.  And one year later, the effects are still lingering.

Matilda Rose Ledger: Living Without Daddy

It has been almost a year since the tragic death of Heath Ledger, and Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda Rose have been spending the past 11+ months learning to live without him.

Thankfully, it sounds like the 3-year-old is having a positive effect on her mother, who has been having a difficult time with the loss.  An inside source told press, “Matilda’s a really upbeat kid who giggles all the time.  That’s the one thing Michelle says will make her smile no matter what — hearing her daughter laugh.”

Heath Ledger Honored at Golden Globes

It’s been almost a year since his tragic death, and last night Heath Ledger was honored for his amazing work in “The Dark Knight” with a Best Supporting Actor trophy at the Golden Globe Awards.

Director Christopher Nolan accepted the award for his late friend/colleague, telling the audience, “On behalf of all of us who worked with Heath on Dark Knight, I accept this with mix of sadness and incredible pride.  He will be eternally missed but he will never be forgotten.”
