Spears, Federline Divorce Details

Straight out of rehab, Britney Spears has found herself rapt in the closing of numerous legal proceedings. Meanwhile, her mother Lynne, and little sis, Jamie Lynn, have been helping the troubled singer out by staying at K-Fed’s pad.

First and foremost, Britney and Kevin’s divorce settlement has been nearing its conclusion. While many early reports rumored the number to be around $19 million, it seems as though Federline isn’t getting anywhere near that.

Britney Spears Leaves Promises Rehab… Broke?

So soon? It just can’t be! Our favorite pop star, Britney Spears, has ‘finished the job’, leaving the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after completing her rehab program.

Her spokesman and manager, Larry Rudolph, said “Britney Spears has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program.”

Its about that time for another update on Britney Spears. She seems to have finally settled into the Promises complex, shattering her previous record of one day.

Over the weekend, Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, and their two children dropped by to offer their support.

This is the the second time that K-Fed has visited Britney within the past two days… he also checked in on the pop princess on Friday.

Federline Forces Britney Spears Back To Rehab

Britney Spears can’t seem to stay in rehab on her own, so her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is using the kids as leverage to get to pop star the help that she seems to so desperately need. As a result, Britney has returned to Promises rehabilitation center in Malibu.

There is video of Spears entering the center with her mother, Lynne Spears. “Lynne is driving, she buzzes the intercom and the two drive through the gates,” reports Extra.

In other developments, X17Online is reporting that Spears went to Federline’s house last night. Their two children, Jayden James, 5 months, and Sean Preston, 17 months, were inside the house and K-Fed would not let Britney inside.

Britney & K-Fed Set Child Custody Arrangements

With divorce attorneys working diligently, it appears Brit and K-Fed have come to an agreement on the custody of their two children, 16-month-old Sean Preston Federline and 4-month-old Jayden James Federline.

Britney filed for divorce from K-Fed on November 7, citing irreconcilable differences. In a sly maneuver, K-Fed counter-filed, seeking spousal support (otherwise he would need to undego debt consolidation to settle all of his credit card bills) and custody of the children.

K-Fed will be allowed to visit the little ones at Britney’s home from noon to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, according to reports. He also requested that only Britney, her assistant, the nanny, and other household staff be present in the house at the time of the visits. Those close to Britney have come forward saying that the she could no longer carry her husband, whom she married in October 2004. Apparently, Fed’s taste was a little too much for Brit’s credit card.

“She tried to support him as much as she could, but at the end of the day she realized it wasn’t best for her and her children to stay,” a source close to Spears told People in its upcoming cover story. “She’s standing up for herself and making positive changes in her life.”

Um...that is a bit of a stretch. Did we not just have incidents in Arizona and Las Vegas to name a few.
