They’ve been going strong for a year and a half, and it sounds like Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal may be finally taking their relationship to the next level.
According to an OK! magazine report, the “Day After Tomorrow” actor spent four hours at NYC jewelry boutique Fred Leighton looking for the perfect engagement ring for his “Sweet Home Alabama” sweetheart.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal: Market Mates
Following a trip to visit with a friend, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon looked quite happy to be enjoying a relaxing afternoon at the Beverly Glen Market on Wednesday afternoon (February 4).
The cute couple walked along side-by-side, with Jake wearing a white t shirt and black bowler hat while Reese donned her iconic aviator sunglasses, making funny faces as she squeezed past a few parked cars.

Out for a bout of weekend shopping, Reese Witherspoon and a freshly cut Jake Gyllenhaal were spotted making their rounds in West Hollywood on Saturday (January 24).
The “Four Christmases” actress and her “Brokeback Mountain” beau dropped by the APC clothing store, although they didn’t seem to ind anything to their liking - coming out empty-handed.

Jake Gyllenhaal Works Up a Sweat
He got into killer shape for his role in “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time” and Jake Gyllenhaal isn’t letting his physique go downhill in the off-season.
The “Brokeback Mountain” stud was spotted out for a morning jog today (January 14) along with his personal trainer in Santa Monica, California.
