Once again ending an awards night with hardware in-hand, Mickey Rourke garnered the Best Male Lead troph at the Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday (February 21).

Joining fellow winners including Penelope Cruz and Melissa Leo, Rourke grabbed up the best actor prize for his role in the hit film, The Wrestler, which happened to pick up Best Picture during the course of the evening.
