Hilary Duff Is Tired Of Showbiz

Not everything that glitters is gold.  That’s ringing especially true in the ears of Hilary Duff.  She’s confessed that she’s contemplated leaving the celebrity world of show business on more than one occasion.

She’s only 19-years-old.  And Duff is already burned out by the fast-paced, non-stop lifestyle that accompanies her career.

It’s hard to imagine, but at one time the famous Hilary and Haylie Duff duo were dueling sisters, playing out all of the typical scenarios of a sibling rivalry.  And Hilary had a special way of pushing her sister’s buttons.

Hilary, 19, told press that her secret weapon was freezing her panties! “If Haylie had friends over to stay when we were little and they left me out I’d freeze their underwear!  I’d wet the underwear, put them in the freezer and snap them to ruin them.”

MuchMusic Awards: A Canadian Party

Those crazy Canadians sure can throw a party!  With celebrity appearances by Avil Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Tara Reid, Joss Stone and Fergie, the MuchMusic Video Awards was a star-studded event.

Unlike most awards shows, the MuchMusic Video Awards took place outdoors, in a carnival-esque atmosphere.  The stages were lined with fans waiting to get a glimpse of Maroon 5, Sum 41, and Canadian sweetheart Avril Lavigne.

Despite constant reports of tension between the two, a feud between Hilary Duff and Avril Lavigne is nothing but talk, according to Miss Duff herself. The two are expected to run into one another at tonight’s Much Music Video Awards.

According to Nova Scotia News, “Duff says the multitude of tabloid reports detailing tantrums and tirades between the pair are complete fiction, insisting the chart rivals are nothing but friendly to each other.”
