Hilary Duff On The Breakup, Dating & Her Career

Hilary Duff is starting to make more and more public appearances. Not too long ago, the singer-actress split with her longtime boyfriend. In a China Daily interview, she has confirmed that her split from Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden was amicable and that she is looking forward to jumping into the dating scene.

The two split up in November after more than two years together and Hilary told Ryan Seacrest recently: “There was nothing - no fight, no he did this, I did this. It was just time for people to move on and do different things.”

“I had a really great relationship with him, and we still have a great relationship, which is really good and unusual. He’s a good person, and I always will care about him.”

Have Hilary Duff and longtime boyfriend, Joel Madden, called it quits?

Seems Joel has been DJ’ing at a club in Chicago and proclaiming himself a single man. (Sounds like Kevin Federline! He was also rocking Chicago and looking for “ladies")

The Good Charlotte frontman and “Lizzie McGuire” have been dating Hilary for two years. Though I have to admit, I really never thought they were the perfect couple. They seemed very much opposites to me.  Wonder if Hilary will now be hitting the LA club scene with Paris, Britney and Lindsay? Let’s all kiss and make up and have some fun.

Madden’s and Duff’s publicists both say “no comment.”

Hilary Duff Takes Over Seventeen Magazine

Hilary Duff has officially taken over Seventeen magazine! The publication allowed the Hilary full access to everything. Nothing was off limits, including photo shoots, interviews ... even a little guest editing. This is the first time the magazine has done such a thing and it’s a really cool idea!

In exchange for the keys to the office, Hilary had to answer a few burning questions about her personal life. She is even forced to make a tough decision regarding her career. She also explains her hectic traveling schedule, and reveals her favorite hotspot.

Hilary Duff Launches Fragrance, With Love

Hilary Duff has followed in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Jennifer Lopez by launching her own fragrance.

The 18 year-old has teamed up with beauty giant Elizabeth Arden, the same company that produced Britney’s fragrance, to launch her own perfume.

“I like wearing nice smells in perfume, body gel and talc, “ revealing that she already has a good idea of what she wants her fragrance to smell like: “something that everyone would like to wear.”

With Love, Hilary Duff, will be in stores September 14, 2006.
