Hilary Duff Is Off The Market

It’s been a long time since Hilary Duff has had a boyfriend.  Her last love, Joel Madden, has long since moved on and is having a baby with Nicole Richie.  And now Hilary is also saying goodbye to singlehood.

The singer/actress is now being romantically linked to Mike Comrie, a pro hockey player.  Comrie plays for the Islanders, and has apparently stolen Duff’s heart.

Hilary Duff Leaves Little Girls In Tears

With the constant public attention that celebrities live under today, it comes as no surprise that they often feel the need to protect their personal time. That’s exactly what happened when Hilary Duff went on a recent dinner outing with her mother and sister, as the Lizzie McGuire actress stonewalled two nine year old fans requesting autographs - leaving them in tears.

Hilary had been on a quiet vacation in Texas with her family and was dining at the Pier 36 Seafood and Oyster bar when she was spotted. Within moments, two nine year old fans came running up to Hilary asking her to sign their t-shirts and posters. However, she quickly declined, stating, “I don’t really get to spend a lot of time with my family; sorry,” then turned to exit the restaurant as the little girls wept.

With her ex-boyfriend Joel Madden fathering a child with Nicole Richie, you gotta wonder what Hilary Duff has been feeling.  During a recent radio interview, she got personal and revealed that being single has been hard.

This past Thursday, Duff talked with Ryan Seacrest on the air about her stint of singlehood since her relationship with Joel Madden dissolved.  “Obviously, I haven’t jumped into a relationship, and I haven’t met someone that really excites me.  I would rather be alone and learn about myself.”

No Soul Mate For Hilary Duff

Maybe it’s because her ex, Joel Madden, is fathering a child with Simple Life star Nicole Richie, but Hilary Duff is being very vocal about her doubts regarding if she’ll ever find a soul mate. 

The singer/actress told press that she wants the whole traditional family set up but she doubts that she’ll ever find just one man.  “I don’t believe in having one partner for your whole life, but I hope I get married. I want to have a husband and two kids and a nice little life baking pies,” she said.
