9th Annual Young Hollywood Awards

Hollywood Life magazine just hosted their 9th annual Young Hollywood Awards show on Sunday night, with the freshest talent flocking to the scene.

The event, which celebrates the accomplishments of Hollywood’s brightest young stars, saw Hilary Duff, Jessica Alba, Dakota Fanning, Katherine McPhee, and Katherine Heigl, to name a few, all turn up for the fledgling award ceremony.

Lohan and Duff: Friends Once More!

Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have decided to put a 5-year-old dispute behind them, becoming amigos once more. The cause of the rift between the two starlets back in 2002 just so happened to be Aaron Carter.

Duff has appropriately called the dispute “silly” and has decided to end it, going back to being friends with LiLo.

Duff said: “We are both adults and whatever happened, happened when we were young. It’s over.”

Hilary Duff and Timbaland Among New Releases

Springtime marks one of the most popular music release periods in the industry, second only to back to school-time.  This week finds us looking at a smattering of new material from Hilary Duff, Fountains of Wayne, Timbaland, and Paul Wall.

Duff, who has sold more than 13 million albums worldwide, is releasing her new album “Dignity.” Several of the songs are about her relationship with her now ex-boyfriend, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, but she denies that she slammed his new newest flame, Nicole Richie, in her tune “Gypsy Woman.” Listen and decide for yourself!

Hilary Duff knows how to create a stir without even trying. The singer-actress recently released a new album “Dignity,” which drew speculation that she used the cd as a platform to attack Nicole Richie, who is dating her ex boyfriend Joel Madden.

Hilary Duff has laughed off these rumors as exactly that… rumors. The teen star insists she has no bitterness towards Richie - and that the songs are actually about her mother and father.

Hilary Duff’s “Emancipation Of Jonny”

For those of you who think Hilary Duff is limited to projects like ‘Lizzie Maguire’ and ‘Casper meets Wendy,’ you may want to think again.

‘The Emancipation of Jonny’, starring Liam Aiken, chronicles the journey of a 16 year-old teenager balancing his dreams with his reality. Based on the true-life story of 16 year-old director Jonathan Nguyen, Jonathan Tyler (Aiken) struggles to live an ideal teenage life, as he is constantly bombarded with strict parental expectations. Hilary Duff plays the role of Piki Little, an 18 year-old tourist from New Zealand who comes into Jonathan’s attention on a completely random basis. The two share a similar dream, with the film portraying their journey as they slowly aim to fulfill it.
