“New Moon” Conquers the Midnight Box Office

Coming as little surprise, “New Moon” is already placing itself into the record book – as it was tops for a midnight run raking in an estimated $26.3 million.

Along with the overwhelming success of “New Moon,” theaters got fans ready by re-releasing “Twilight” just prior to the follow-ups debut – which garnered another $1.3 million.

“New Moon” Screening in NYC Brings Out the Stars

Making one last group appearance before their movie takes over cinemas at the stroke of midnight, the stars of the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” gathered together at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in New York City on Thursday night (November 19).

With Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner all on hand, the “Twilight” trio put on their best smiles for The Cinema Society and D&G screening of their upcoming vampire movie - although they all must be absolutely drained from their month-long press blitz.

Getting in a little last minute promotions, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed teamed up to meet fans and sign autographs at Toys ‘R’ Us Times Square on Thursday (November 19).

The “The Twilight Saga: New Moon’” stars smiled as they posed arm-in-arm before taking their seats, then proceeding to greet fans just hours ahead of the theatrical release of their sure-to-be-hit vampire flick.

Doing her part to boost interest in her upcoming movie, Nikki Reed was busy making her press rounds in New York City on Wednesday (November 18).

After an early Fox & Friends visit, the vampire vixen changed outfits before heading off to MTV Studios to make an appearance on “It’s On with Alexa Chung”.

Ready for a fun-filled night on the red carpet, Nikki Reed stepped out for the premiere of the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” at Mann’s Village Theater on Monday (November 16).
