Monday, June 11, 2007 Elizabeth Hurley Turns 42 In Style
It’s gotta be great being a celebrity and having ultra-rich celebrity friends. Just ask Elizabeth Hurley. She’s a beautiful actress/model, and she has friends like Sir Elton John to throw her ridiculous birthday parties.
John served up birthday wishes for Hurley in lavish form. Elizabeth’s husband, Arun Nayar, seemed stunned by the festivities, and by his wife’s beautiful white knee-length frock and sparkly shoes. Not bad for 42, eh?

permalink Sunday, March 25, 2007 Sir Elton John’s Birthday Bash At MSG
Sir Elton John is making the final preparations for a sold-out show tonight (March 25) at Madison Square Garden. This isn’t your everyday concert, though, as the pop legend will be celebrating his 60th birthday with his record-setting 60th MSG performance. Born as Reg Dwight in London on March 25, 1947, Elton has long been a crowd favorite at the coveted venue. “There are very few artists that could even think of setting a record like this, let alone achieve it,” said Jay Marciano, president of MSG Entertainment. posted by at 10:57 AM | (0) comments |

After hosting one of the hotter Oscar after-parties around, Sir Elton John flew off to England and walked Elizabeth Hurley down the aisle for her church blessing with new husband Arun Natay on Saturday. Hurley, 41, tied the knot with Indian businessman Nayar, 43, in a private and unannounced civil ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England, on Friday, the day before celebrating with their elite group of friends the following day. posted by at 11:35 AM | (0) comments |
permalink Saturday, September 09, 2006 Fergie London Bridge at Fashion Rocks
The duchess rocked the crowd with her sizzling hot performance of London Bridge at Fashion Rocks in New York City to kick off Fashion Week. She was wearing a gorgeous gold dress, which I personally liked better than her VMA outfit (remember the Burberry shorts Fergie wore?). Anyway, if you missed the show, don’t panic. We’ve got your back! posted by Nadia at 06:04 PM | (1) comments |
permalink Thursday, December 22, 2005 Where’s the Bride? Elton John & David Furnish wed ![]() Getty Images Elton John, the flamboyant musician of the last decades has finally gone and done it. He and his “boyfriend” of over 12 years, David Furnish, tied the knot Wednesday in England. They were married in the exact same spot that Prince Charles and Ms. Camilla were married… WIndsor’s Town Hall. The much-publicized union took place on the first day on which same-sex couples were allowed a to be legally married. The laws gives them the same social security, pension, tax and inheritance rights in England and Wales. Too bad Madonna didn’t show up. Why didn’t she show up anyway??? Poor Elton, she really pi$$ed him off this time! posted by Isabella at 03:21 PM | (1) comments |

Jo comments on: Halle Berry: Vampire Vixen I love Halle’s tshirt! Does anyone know where to find it? I just bought a swarovski encrusted tshirt at a Twilight convention and it rocks!
here’s where I got mine:
Where can I get Halle’s? Does anyone know? Walker comments on: Reese Witherspoon Fights Domestic Violence in the UK Good for her. I feel like domestic violence is the red-headed step-child of violence issues. It’s easy to speak out against government-induced famine, or wars that kill civilians, or rape. But domestic violence is a very sensitive issue because it is so common! I’m glad Reese is getting people talking. Another voice brave enough to speak on domestic violence is that of Marala Scott, author of the book, “In Our House: Perception vs. Reality.” She is specifically interested in the “Indicators of an Abuser,” a tool she developed to help people recognize patterns in others (or in themselves) that might signify abusive tendencies in the future. Really fascinating stuff, that - you can see them here. Keep up the good work, Reese! Douglas Harnett comments on: Lindsay Lohan: Seeing Kevin Connolly? linsay just needs to leave that loser kevin connolly and come to me with her sexy a** N.J. comments on: Adam Lambert: More Cancellations ABC is really showing their true colors right now… They invited Adam Lambert to do the closing numer on that awards show, they WANTED it to be racy and risky and announced the “Shocking” performance a dozen times throughout the show. And now that the’ve used him to garner ratings they throw him under the bus??? This has nothing to do with his performance, this is a witch hunt. Nothing else! And just because Adam Lambert is gay nobody dares to speak up… it’s disgusting.
These are not the “values” I want my children to learn, I will no longer allow them to watch ABC or any affiliated companies.
Evey comments on: Orlando Bloom: Vdara Hotel Hunk We’ve heard these same stories about this guy when he was seeing a past girlfriend. I wish you guys would try to use your imaginations and think up better stories. Next week you’ll be claiming Miranda is shopping for a wedding dress. And then that she and Orlando were looking at rings. Just like before. It’s so predictable, it’s boring. Anna comments on: Keira Knightley Continues Work on "The Misanthrope" I love this girl. She is so talented and gorgeous. I wish her all the best with the play, I’m sure she’ll be great! |
