Gwyneth Paltrow’s Can-Do Night
Chelsea Piers’ Pier 60 was the place to be last night for celebrity sightings and a charitable cause. And Gwyneth Paltrow was in the house to make a difference.
The “Sliding Doors” actress showed up to the 2008 Can-Do Awards Dinner for the Food Bank for New York City looking like she was ready to step onto a fashion runway.

There has long been a correlation between celebrities and drug use. But Gwyneth Paltrow is getting behind an initiative to help educate school children and prisoners on the dangers of drugs and binge drinking.
The “Sliding Doors” actress was spotted at the Odeon in London’s Leicester Square for the Prince’s Trust and RBS Celebrate Success awards today.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Pretty In Pink
Only weeks after she paid a visit to a New York City hospital, Gwyneth Paltrow looked back to her healthy self at Madonna’s charity gala in New York City last night.
Wearing a thigh-skimming pink Gucci frock trimmed with a big satin bow, Paltrow worked the black carpet before spending time conversing with her peers.

Madonna and Friends Get Charitable
She’s conquered the world of pop culture, and now Madonna is putting her time and energy into overcoming the heartbreak and tragedy experienced by orphaned children in Malawi.
The “Material Girl” hosted a celebrity-rich event on the lawns of the United Nations in New York City last night, and raised $3.7 million for two charities - Raising Malawi and Unicef.
