The Roman Gladiator sandals trend has finally taken over Hollywood and moved on to England.  And Gwyneth Paltrow is the most recent celeb to be sporting the trendy footwear.

She was spotted out and about in West London earlier today on her way to a back specialist clinic.  And after all the jet-setting promotion she’s been doing for her latest project “Iron Man” it’s no wonder she may need an adjustment.

She’s been doing some serious globetrotting during her Iron Man promotional tour, and earlier today, Gwyneth Paltrow landed back home in London, England.

But she’s barely had time to breathe- just after landing, the “Shakespeare in Love” babe was whisked off to the Claridges hotel in downtown London for a press junket and photo call.

Looking gorgeous as always, Gwyneth Paltrow joined co-stars Terrence Howard and Robert Downey Jr, along with director Jon Favreau, at the Iron Man premiere in Rome on Wednesday (April 23).

The past few days have been busy for the “Shakespeare In Love” actress, as she and her fellow cast members have jetted from Paris to Berlin and now Rome to promote their new flick.

Continuing along on her European promotional run, Gwyneth Paltrow joined co-star Robert Downey Jr, along with director Jon Favreau, at the Iron Man photocall at Hassler Hotel in Rome on Wednesday.

“Iron Man” (opening May 2nd Stateside) isn’t the typical Paltrow project, in fact she says her friends and family weren’t sure what to think when she announced her involvement in the film.

Earlier today, the Gossip Girls reported on Gwyneth Paltrow’s promotional duties in Berlin, Germany.  And this evening she was spotted attending the German premiere of her new flick “Iron Man.”

Dressed in a sparkly black dress (with a pattern that closely resembles the face of Elizabeth Taylor), the “Bounce” actress made her way to the Cinemaxx amid constant paparazzi flashbulbs and adoring fans.
