Shakira Designs Charity Hard Rock T-Shirt

Always working for charity in one way or another, singer Shakira has unveiled the latest , featuring an image which she designed.  The unveiling took place at the Hard Rock in Paris, France.

Proceeds from the sale of the new T-shirt benefit Shakira’s Fundacion Pies Descalzos, which is devoted to finding and providing opportunities for children who are victims of the violence in Colombia. The foundation also aims to build new schools and/or improve the infrastructure of existing schools, according the charity’s website.

Shakira Requires A Spotless Stage

Talk about making a job tough on people. Shakira reportedly makes her roadies scrub and clean the stage before every concert, because she likes to perform in bare feet. Just think of the labor that a pair of sandals or slippers would save.

The singer, who is currently on the European leg of her ‘Oral Fixation Tour’, prefers to shake around the stage with no shoes on and insists the floor be spotlessly clean.

She told Life Style Extra: “It’s got to be clean otherwise I can’t go on.”

Shakira and Beyonce Make For One Hot Duet

Talk about a hot duet. Stay tuned to MTV, for Shakira and Beyonce are teaming up. In a move to capitalize on the hit and make some more money/gain a wider fan base, Beyonce is re-releasing her latest album B’Day. This move came after a Spanish remake of one of her songs became a surprise hit.

For one of the new songs to be remade, Beautiful Liar, the former Destiny’s Child star will team up with Colombian pop sensation Shakira.

Without a doubt, it should make for one hot video. So, set your TiVo on your lcd or plasma tv, because you know its coming soon.

The song that ignited this re-release was a Spanish version of the song Irreplaceable. The tune recently took the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart by storm, making the already huge English single a cross-over success.

Shake it Like Shakira! Hips Don’t Lie

As you all know by now, Shakira put on a sexy sizzling performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.  Jade and I have been dancing around most of the day doing our best Shakira moves. Granted she’s got moves that seems nearly contortionist to us, but we give it our best shot. Dressed in beautiful Middle Eastern belly dancing costume Shakira showed us why she is the queen of the dance and her Hips Don’t Lie.
