If you’ve been wondering why it’s so freaking hot in New York City this week, you may have your answer.  Hollywood hotties Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have been out and about, tearing up the town.

Moore and Kutcher have been enjoying everything NYC has to offer, along with some of their famous friends.  On Monday night, the famous pair were spotted at hotspot Butter Restaurant and club Chillin with Madonna and Penelope Cruz.

Shakira Joins Live Earth Hamburg

If you’re a fan of Shakira and plan on attending Live Earth’s Hamburg show, then you’re in luck. It was announced on Friday (June 22) that the hip shaking Colombian sensation has joined an already star-studded lineup for the July 7, 2007 concert.

”Live Earth is about engaging a mass movement of people to take action against the climate crisis,” Live Earth Founder and Producer Kevin Wall said. “The addition of internationally popular music acts like Shakira will help us reach millions of people across the globe.”

Shakira To Wed, Penelope A Bridesmaid?

Shakira has finally committed to walking down the aisle with her boyfriend of seven years. It is being reported by The Daily Mirror that the 30-year-old Colombian singer is set to marry Antonio De La Rua, 34, in September.

While we all know what Shakira does for a living, De La Rua is a practicing lawyer and the son of a former Argentine president. According to the report, “the wedding is believed to be taking place at Shakira’s luxury mansion in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.”

Shakira and Penelope Cruz: Out To Impress

After lunching and partying it up with Avril Lavigne on Friday (June 8), Shakira hit the town the following night with another gal pal - Penelope Cruz. The Colombian and Spanish beauties were spotted arm-in-arm heading into Parc for a little fun at John Mayer’s concert afterparty.

The little Mayer shindig occurred after his earlier gig at the Hollywood Bowl. Drawing the likes of Penelope and Shakira, John seemed to be getting over his split with Jessica Simpson quite well.

Avril Lavigne Hip Hop Dancing?

Avril Lavigne hit the music scene a few years back as a bad girl punk princess.  But since her marriage to Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley, it seems the Sk8er Boi singer has mellowed out a bit.  Her new remix of “Girlfriend” even has her exploring the world of hip hop.

Her label brought in R&B diva Lil Mama on the video for the remix of Avril’s first single from her 3rd major label album “The Best Damn Thing.” And Lavigne is pumped about the joining of forces.
