She’s had one of the most controversial hits in recent memory, and Katy Perry claims that her song “I Kissed a Girl” comes from true-life experience.
At a 2008 MTV Video Music Awards pre-party last Saturday, Miss Perry told FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay, “I really did kiss a girl. It was one of those frat-type songs that was just fun. I don’t think people got the wrong idea — every girl kisses their friend at some point, right?”

Though she’s only 15, Miley Cyrus already has a way with the media. And earlier tonight she was hamming it up on the red carpet at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.
The “7 Things” sweetie actually got a chance to chat with her fellow Best New Artist nominees, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry (who recently made a comment that she’d like to kiss the “Hannah Montana” starlet).

Katy Perry: “Hot N Cold” Video Vixen
She blasted onto the world’s pop music scene with her scandalous hit “I Kissed a Girl,” and now Katy Perry is hoping to make lightening strike twice with her new single.
Sporting a white spaghetti strap tank top and belted high-waisted white shorts teamed with a pair of pink flats, Perry was spotted gallivanting around Los Angeles as she shot her new video for “Hot N Cold.”

Today Show Rocks With Katy Perry, Pussycat Dolls
The always-popular Today Show Summer Concert Series continued this morning with the “Songs of Summer” show, including performances by Katy Perry, the Pussycat Dolls, and Jesse McCartney.
And it was an early gig, as taping started at 7am sharp at the Today Show’s Window on the World Studio, located at 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown Manhattan.

The “I Kissed a Girl” songstress was invited to the Howard Stern show (imagine that!) yesterday (August 21) for an interview, and as she left, several fans stopped her to get an autograph.

Jenna B is obviously a douch!!! KUDOS to Chris Weitz & crew who did an AMAZING job!!!! (Including the cast of fairly new actors). 
Whats more important, what the 
critics think or what the 
fans think? Of course it’s what the fans think. Afterall, fans are the force behind the entertainment industry. My TEEN BOYS & I have seen it twice & will go see it again. 
We loved the wolves, couldn’t take our eyes off the screen. (not because they are shirtless, when they are in wolf form). So if you don’t like my opinion, 
BITE ME!!! I really don’t give a F***!!!! People were talking during the movie making comments on the movie & comparing the movie to the book. Most people were amazed @ how much truer New Moon was to the book than Twilight was. I like how the movie has a bit of everything in it. Yes, it is depressing, yet funny & action packed. GREAT MOVIE!!!! Good job everyone involved. KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!
