The 19-year-old has played Harry Potter since his pre-teen age of 11, recently saying, “We’re getting to the finish line.”

“Harry Potter” Takes Over the Box Office

Coming in as no surprise, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is on its way to a record-breaking debut today (July 15) and through the weekend. 

According to Warner Bros., the film pulled in $22.2 million in midnight ticket sales - beating out the $18.5 million record midnight earnings of last year’s hit, “The Dark Knight.”
