Why Can’t I Buy a Cozy, Posh Pad in Beverly Hills Like Gwen?

jennifer lopez beverly hills mansion sells to gwen stefani gavin rossdale

Well, Gwen Stefani didn’t buy just any house, she bought Jennifer Lopez’s former house.  And it’s way out of our budget - I mean WAY OUT THERE!!!

The ‘Rich Girl’ singer and her husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale, have splashed out just under $15.5 million for the Beverly Hills home.

The seller, film producer and businessman Sam Nazarian, has confirmed the star couple have paid the massive sum for the four-bedroom house, situated in The Summit, a lavish development built in 1998 near Mulholland Drive.

Nazarian - who bought the property from J.Lo in 2004 for a reported $12.5 million before putting it on the market for $15.5 million in April - said: “We anticipated it taking a little bit longer to sell.

The 2 acre property comes complete with a tennis court, basketball court, pool room and film screening room and is completely gated off to the public. Gwen and Gavin - who celebrated the birth of their first child together, son Kingston, in May - are expected to move in within the next few weeks. Seller Nazarian who owns a chain of hotels, restaurants and nightclubs, is moving to the Hollywood Hills, next door to ‘Titanic’ star Leonardo DiCaprio.

Celebrity Sightings… July Roundup

Daniel Day-Lewis fueled rumors that he was manorexic when spotted jogging in a full sweat suit in 100 degree heat.  Friends say, “He covers up completely to run so his muscles won’t cool down.  You should see him pack in the roast potatoes!”

Jesse Metcalfe is looking to get more serious in life and love.  The gorgeous actress is trying for more serious roles that showcase his talents rather than his impeccable chest.  He is also rumored to be house shopping with girlfriend Nadine Coyle!

Vanessa Minnillo, Nick Lachey‘s new lady, was spotted leaving the Peninsula Hotel where Nick was staying.  They left separately and reportedly headed to her apartment.

Leonardo DiCaprio was popping the bubbly at L.A. club Les Deux, elsewhere at the club Christina Aguilera was seated at the prize outdoor both.

Midtown Manhattan was the sight of a recent dinner with friends for Ellen DeGeneres and girlfriend Portia de Rossi.  The two were stroking each other’s arms during dinner at the restaurant Fresco’s.

Nick Lachey and his buddies were chowing down on wings at Virgil’s Real BBQ in NYC.

Breakout star Jeremy Piven of Entourage thwarted a bevy of beauties advances.  He instead opted to down margaritas with a sexy girl in a corner booth.  They left hand-in-hand just after 1 a.m.

Eva Mendes showed off her vocal talents by serenading Hollywood’s Spider Club with her karaoke rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.”

Paris Hilton purchased a fluffy Himalayan kitten on July 5th, and five days later Nicole Richie had to get herself a kitty as well!

Teen Vogue’s Fourth Annual Live Fashion Show and Party on the Beach was the scene for pals Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad to clown around.  The stars of MTV’s reality show The Hills smiled for the cameras on July 27th.

What’s up with Lindsay Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan would appear naked in a film if it would guarantee her an Oscar.

The sexy teen actress insists she would have no hesitation stripping off for the camera if it was the right role, with awards prospects, because she is already comfortable baring her breasts in public.

She told Cosmo: “I’m OK with being topless in front of people.”

Lindsay, 19, also insists she is not dating anyone at the moment, despite constant rumors linking her to several star men, including Jared Leto and Leonardo DiCaprio.

However, the ‘Mean Girls’ star says she does have “people who are fun to have crushes on.”

Despite not having a boyfriend, Lindsay recently confessed to having a crush on Angelina Jolie.

She said: “Someone said to me recently, ‘I heard you have a crush on Angelina,’ and I was like, ‘Uh, everyone does. She’s Angelina’.”

Can I have your autograph? The Good, bad and ugly…

Britney Spears makes it to the top of another “worst” list. And this time, it has nothing to do with clothes or singing.

Autograph Collector magazine, saying “no one is better at showing their fans how little they mean to them,” names Spears its worst celebrity signer of the year in its 13th annual survey of who’s cool and who’s cruel to the fans.

“While we’re the first to defend any celebrity’s right not to sign, how do you defend rude, crude and downright unattractive behavior?” asks Steve Cyrkin, publisher and editor in chief. “As one collector told us, ‘Britney has done all she can to earn her nickname, Bitchney Sneers.’ “

But Hollywood isn’t all scowls and passive aggression. Turns out Johnny Depp is pretty nice. “He never says ‘No’ to autograph seekers,” Cyrkin says.

The other good guys on the Autograph Collector list: Matt Damon, Tom Cruise, Mike Myers, Angelina Jolie, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff and Charlize Theron.

The naughty list includes Cameron Diaz, Tobey Maguire, Justin Timberlake, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eminem, Halle Berry and Paris Hilton.
------------------------------------------------------------

Well, booo to the naughty list. Remember folks, if it weren’t for the fans you’d be doing dinner theater or working at McDonalds!  And who pays your million dollar salary by going to see your movies, buy your gear, downloading your music from iTunes? Us. We do.  So play nice!

A Logical Person comments on: Zanessa: Off For a Holiday Getaway!

Totally out of the question that they are going to Hawaii. Or to join Ashley and Jared. That would be walking into paparazzi hell. And Zac want’s privacy. That’s NOT where they’re going. There are lots of other places to surf besides Hawaii.
