Catherine Zeta-Jones Voices Late Diagnosis Displeasure
As her husband undergoes treatment to save his life, Catherine Zeta Jones has voiced her displeasure over the circumstances surrounding Michael's throat cancer diagnosis.
Talking to People magazine, the "Legend of Zorro" actress tells, "It makes me furious they didn't detect it earlier. He sought every option and nothing was found."
With the family patriarch's life on the line, Catherine is understandably worried about their two children - Dylan, 10, and Carys, 7 - growing up without a dad.
And as Douglas, 65, currently receives radiation and chemotherapy treatment five days-a-week every three weeks, Miss Zeta-Jones is having a difficult time coming to terms with the situation.
"I know maybe I should be stronger, but emotionally I just don't want to see that," she said, adding that "the hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired."
