On an uplifting note, Jennifer Hudson is set to make Vogue history by becoming the first black singer to ever appear on the magazine's cover.
Meanwhile, the 25 year old Hudson will become only the third black woman to ever grace the cover of the highly esteemed fashion magazine. She follows in the footsteps of talk show mega-star Oprah Winfrey and Academy Award winning actress, Halle Berry.
The Chicago-born Hudson, who plays Effie White in the box-office hit, Dreamgirls, alongside Beyonce, was photographed by Annie Leibovitz in New York City's Harlem theatre.
