Casey Affleck's Legal Woes
He usually does an excellent job of flying under the radar, but Casey Affleck has landed in the hot seat.
According to People magazine, “The Killer Inside Me” actor is being sued for sexual harassment by a female producer of his offbeat documentary about Affleck’s brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix’s quest to become a rap star.
A gal named Amanda White claims Casey acted inappropriately while directing “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix.”
Ms White says she encountered "uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace" during production, and is suing Affleck for $2 million.
In response, the actor’s litigator, Michael Plonsker, says, "The complaint will be vigorously defended and cross-claims will be filed against her."
