Carrie Prejean has caused quite the stir this past year and now she is making headlines again.
It turns out the beauty queen owes $5,200 for breast implants given by pageant organizers in January, a new lawsuit claims.
The Ex-Miss California ripped off pageant organizer K2 Productions after requesting the surgery so that it was “to be more competitive” at the April 2009 Miss USA pageant and verbally agreed to pay back the K2 loan, a complaint read yesterday.
Prejean lost her crown on June 10 for breaking the contract. She then went on to sue pageant officials, claiming they made her a target after giving her answer of opposing gay marriage.
"Even before she became notorious for that answer and the ensuing media storm, Ms. Prejean was already causing difficulty," the K2 counter-suit states.
"With her new-found notoriety, an inflated sense of self, and the lure of financial gain available to her, Ms. Prejean turned even further against the Miss California USA organization."
Prejean is also being accused of missing events, lying about semi-nude photos, organizing an unauthorized book deal and using her title without the authorization to help promote the National Organization for Marriage’s “campaign of intolerance” against gay marriages.
K2 wants proceeds from her planned book, the $5,200 from the breast surgery and other relief.
"She attempts to cast herself as a virtuous young woman and the victim in a supposed conspiracy against her. Had she heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle."
