Cannes 2011 Opening Ceremony: A Star-Studded Affair

It’s one of the most beloved events in the movie industry, and earlier today the 64th Cannes International Film Festival got underway.

The Opening Ceremony was nothing short of fabulous, with stars from all over the globe converging on the Palais des Festivals.

“Cape Fear” actor/Cannes juror Robert De Niro looked dapper in a black tuxedo as he chatted with fellow attendees.

Also in the house were jurors Uma Thurman and Jude Law, as well as super hot model Karolina Kurkova.
