The Super Bowl halftime show has become an event almost as big as the game itself, and with an official announcement set to be made this weekend, some are saying Bruno Mars will be providing the entertainment for the spectacular.
According to a source with knowledge of the National Football League’s plans for the show told the Associated Press that the “Lazy Song” crooner has been tapped for the job.
They’ve both proved elite in the music world having two of the biggest selling albums this year and now Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards nominations list.
The “Thrift Shop” singers and “Mirror” crooner each scored six nods, while Bruno Mars follows closely behind grabbing four VMA nominations. In addition, P!nk, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds To Mars each scored three.
