Brooke Burke Takes Home the DWTS Title

It’s been an amazing season of “Dancing With the Stars,” and last night Brooke Burke emerged as the champion, along with her partner Derek Hough.

The former “Wild On” hostess earned perfect 10s from each judge with her final dance, a Viennese waltz that brought her husband David Charvet to tears on Tuesday’s finale.

And it proved to be the clincher Burke needed as she came into the final elimination, pushing her ahead of Warren Sapp and Lance Bass.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told her, “Brooke, you are a star. This show is called ‘Dancing with the Stars” and you are a star. You guys deserve that trophy more than anyone else.” Bruno Tonioli added, “You truly are the jewel in the crown of this really grand finale.”
