In a statement to US Weekly, Ms. Andrews gushed, "Being a huge fan of country music, the CMT Music Awards are one of my favorite events of the season. I cannot wait to be around all the talented artists and bands and look forward to being a part of such a great event."
The first installment of “Pitch Perfect” raked in a respectable $65 million in domestic ticket sales back in 2012, so everyone was a bit shocked when “Pitch Perfect 2” earned a whopping $70.3 million during this past weekend’s opening run!
The Elizabeth Banks-directed musical comedy beat out the highly-anticipated “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which opened with $44.4 million, as well as “Avengers: Age of Ultron” ($38.8 million), “Hot Pursuit” ($5.8 million) and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” ($3.6 million).
Her new movie “Pitch Perfect 2” comes out this month, and Brittany Snow is featured on the front of Vegas magazine’s 12th Anniversary issue.
The “John Tucker Must Die” dame chats about her character Chloe in the sequel- “She has to take over a leadership role in her singing group, the Barden Bellas. And Chloe doesn’t want to let go. She was supposed to graduate from college three years ago and has failed on purpose to remain a Bella. I don’t know what they’re going to do if there’s a Pitch Perfect 3. Maybe we’ll all be singers on a cruise ship.”
The “Pitch Perfect 2” star admits that traditionally she goes for the artsy type of guy- “Until recently, I always dated musicians. I have this fascination with being on the road, all things music, and the ’70s. My favorite movie is Almost Famous. I don’t date musicians anymore [Brittany is currently dating actor Tyler Hoechlin], but I still hang out creepily at concerts and venues.”
