In an ultimate fashion faux-pas, Britney Spears was spotted leaving the L’Ermitag hotel last night wearing the same burgundy dress and plaid fedora that she was wearing when she checked in the previous night.
Perhaps the “Piece of Me” singer is a little too stressed out with her sister’s pregnancy and the ongoing custody case to change her clothes. Nevertheless, Brit is making some serious allegations against her ex-hubby, Kevin Federline.
As if there hasn’t been enough drama in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Britney Spears is about to get lambasted by Mark Vincent Kaplan for playing hooky when she was scheduled to give her deposition last week.
Kaplan, K-Fed’s lawyer, is slated to appear in court today to discuss the “Gimme More” singer being spotted out until 2 a.m. following the same day that she was “too ill” to attend the court proceedings.
Still sporting a brunette hairdo, Britney Spears was spotted hitting a gas station for a pack of smokes and a lighter before heading over to Raffles L’hermitage on Burton Way in Beverly Hills on Thursday night.
And while the much talked about child custody case isn’t going well for the “Toxic” singer, there is good news regarding her hit and run suit. It looks like she’ll only get a slap on the wrist.
Despite being "too sick" to attend a court deposition hearing yesterday afternoon, Britney Spears seemed to recover quickly - as she was spotted out cruising around Hollywood until 2 o'clock this morning.
According to a spectator on the scene, "(Britney) arrived at the gas station on the evening of December 12th with a new female companion. The white Mercedes pulled into the station and a brunette Spears walked out to get some cigarettes. When she walked up to the door, a pap told her the place was closed."
Earlier today we told you that Britney Spears was going to be giving a deposition in her custody case with Kevin Federline. But it seems that she was too sick to show up.
The official story is that the “Gimme More” singer was unable to attend the court proceeding due to “an illness.” According to K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, "I was told of a general [medical] condition, and [Spears] felt she couldn't attend."
Today is a very important day in the life of Britney Spears. In mere hours she’ll submit to giving a deposition to ex-husband Kevin Federline’s lawyers, and it could make or break her custody case.
As we speak, the “Gimme More” singer is preparing for her meeting with K-Fed’s legal team, a process that is expected to last most of the day. And if she hopes to reverse the court’s decision to grant Federline primary physical custody of Jayden James and Sean Preston, today is her chance.
