It’s no secret that Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears' single “Pretty Girls” was less-than-amazing and the Australian rapper tried to blame her “Toxic” partner for its lackluster performance.
Everything got started when Iggy tweeted, "its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately I'm just featured.... would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015."
It’s no secret that artists tend to be a bit eccentric, and it sounds like even Britney Spears has her own quirky preferences.
While chatting with the “Dan & Maz Show” on Australia’s 2DayFM, the “Baby One More Time” songstress was asked if she’d run into Mariah Carey since she rolled into Las Vegas with her Infinity to #1 residency.
Kicking off the week with a brand new ditty, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea have released their song “Pretty Girls” a few days after it initially leaked onto the internet.
Over the weekend, the Australian rapper reached out to fans via Twitter- "Hi guys its Iggy here :-)... I happened to have noticed that pretty girls, my song with @britneyspears has leaked and is on some radio stations, etc. I'm really really happy to see so many people loving it but I also just want to clarify its not an ‘early’ release its a leak and if you can, we would really appreciate everyone holding out until Monday to share links etc if possible (I know it’s hard, I'm excited too!)."
Earlier this week she sprained her ankle while performing her “Piece of Me” gig in Sin City and now Britney Spears has announced she’ll need to take some time off to nurse her injury.
A spokesperson for The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino told press, “Britney injured her ankle during her performance Wednesday evening and her doctor has advised her not to perform Friday and Saturday evening so that she may heal.”
