Kicking off the week with a brand new ditty, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea have released their song “Pretty Girls” a few days after it initially leaked onto the internet.
Over the weekend, the Australian rapper reached out to fans via Twitter- "Hi guys its Iggy here :-)... I happened to have noticed that pretty girls, my song with @britneyspears has leaked and is on some radio stations, etc. I'm really really happy to see so many people loving it but I also just want to clarify its not an ‘early’ release its a leak and if you can, we would really appreciate everyone holding out until Monday to share links etc if possible (I know it’s hard, I'm excited too!)."
Earlier this week she sprained her ankle while performing her “Piece of Me” gig in Sin City and now Britney Spears has announced she’ll need to take some time off to nurse her injury.
A spokesperson for The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino told press, “Britney injured her ankle during her performance Wednesday evening and her doctor has advised her not to perform Friday and Saturday evening so that she may heal.”
She’s no stranger to accolades and trophies and Britney Spears just added two more pieces of hardware to her already-impressive collection.
Over the weekend, the “Toxic” songstress received the Best of Las Vegas and Best Bachelorette Party awards from the Las Vegas Review Journal. Spears posted a photo to her Instagram account along with the message, “Look what I got over the weekend! Thank you @BestOfLasVegas, my dedicated team & POM crew, @phvegas, and all of YOU!”
Following up their People magazine cover, the “Baby One More Time” babe and her boys posed for some beach shots that Spears promptly uploaded to her Twitter account along with captions like, “AL-O-HA!” and, “Missing vacay already... Best week with the boys. Back home and back to work! #GoTime.”
Giving fans an inside look at her fun family life, Britney Spears is featured on the front of People magazine- and she brought her two handsome sons along for the ride.
The “Crazy” songstress shares that though her music career has been red hot since the late ‘90s, she’s always been a devoted mother to Sean Preston and Jayden James. “My kids come first in my life, bottom line. Homework is a priority. We have a reward system that helps motivate them: if they get so many As, they get one toy a month.”
