He’s had quite a ride since suffering a non-aneurysmal brain hemorrhage and now Bret Michaels is on the road to recovery and already looking to hit the stage by the end of the month.

The “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” singer has been undergoing physical therapy with the goal of making it to the May 23rd finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

Staying strong during a time in which it would have been easy to become emotionally overwhelmed, Bret Michaels' girlfriend Kristi Gibson was just the rock that her rock star beau needed.

Talking about Kristin's impact on the situation, Bret's guitarist pal Pete Evick told People magazine, "In most of our world, Bret's the hero, but in this situation, Kristi was the hero – she saved his life."

He recently spent 10 days in the ICU, but the last thing Bret Michaels is doing is complaining.

The rock star, who suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage on April 21, spoke out for the first time saying that he is, “Lucky to be alive.”

Making an amazing recovery, Bret Michaels has reportedly been discharged from the hospital following a life threatening brain hemorrhage.

According to Dr. Joseph Zambraski of the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital, the former Poison singer is stable and improving while also up and walking again - albeit at a slow pace.

He suffered a serious brain hemorrhage late last month, and Bret Michaels is still on the slow-but-steady road to recovery.

The “Nothin But a Good Time” rocker’s sister Michelle Sychak told press that things are improving for her brother, but he’s not out of the woods yet.

Previously not willing to disclose his location, it has now been revealed that Bret Michaels is recovering from his recent brain hemorrhage at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

And while things are looking on the up and up, physicians are still monitoring the situation closely, as neurosurgeon Dr. Zabramski tells, "There is no doubt that Mr. Michaels’ condition is serious. We are treating the subarachnoid hemorrhage, which caused his severe cranial pain."

He gave everyone quite a scare when he was rushed to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage last week, but now Bret Michaels is said to be making progress in the healing process.

According to a report, the “Something To Believe In” singer is “responding well to tests and treatments” and could return to the stage as early as May 26th.

Making for quite welcome news, Bret Michaels has been upgraded to stable condition while hospitalized at an undisclosed facility.

Confirming the positive update, the Poison frontman's rep tells of the recovery from a massive brain hemorrhage, "He's still in the ICU, but he's stable."

Sounding hopeful for his son, Wally Sychak spoke to press after speaking with Bret Michaels after suffering a brain hemorrhage last week.

The father of the rock star said, "The fact that he was talking to me, and giving me information, I thought that was great. On the phone, Michaels "sounded a little slow, but fine," says Sychak. "He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way."Even better news, Sychak explained that his son has began to move his limbs again. "They say he's moving his arms and hands. The best as they could expect at this time."
