Brad Pitt Talks Marriage, Adults-Only Time with Ellen
Continuing forth with his hefty "Moneyball" promotions, Brad Pitt paid a visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to pre-tape an appearance set to air tomorrow at 4PM on ABC (September 22).
Aside from boosting interest in his sports-based film, the Hollywood mainstay also delved into the subject of his longtime partner, Angelina Jolie.
Asked how they make things work with both parties having such demanding work schedules on top of being parents to six children, Pitt replied, “We find our time. We carve out Mommy, Daddy time… It’s called a hotel. You got to get out of this house. You got to leave."
On the much-speculated topic of marriage, the 47-year-old dished, “I’ve said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this county had the right to get married…We live in this great country that is about freedom. It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on everyday and that’s not what we’re about."
Offering up his best Italian accent, Brad finished by saying, “That’s not what makes us great. Until that is reversed. I just don’t get it. It’a make’a no sense to me.”
