Helping his growing son in his quest towards musicianship, Brad Pitt took Madox over to the local Guitar Center in Hollywood, CA on Thursday (March 1).
The Oscar nominated actor joined Maddox in checking out the shop's stock - with the pair later exiting with a staffer toting their newly purchased guitar and amplifier.
The father/son excursion comes just as it's being reported that Pitt will be joining the cast of the West Coast premiere reading of 8 - which is "a play penned by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (Milk) that follows the legal fight to overturn Proposition 8, the California law that outlawed gay marriage," according to CBS.
As for Brad's role, he'll be playing United States District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker, with other stars lined up to take the stage alongside the "Fight Club" actor including George Clooney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Morrison, Kevin Bacon, Jane Lynch and John C. Reilly.
Of the effort, AFER board president Chad Griffin said in a statement, "At long last each and every American will be able to see for themselves what happens when prejudice and fear are put on trial in a court of law. For over two years, the anti-marriage proponents of Proposition 8 have fought tooth and nail to hide their discriminatory arguments from the American people. But on Saturday night, thanks to YouTube and our incredible cast, people across the nation, from Los Angeles to Little Rock to Baltimore, will get to watch as our Constitution's promise of liberty and equality for all is protected."
