The “My Prerogative” singer told Us Weekly, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy. And our family as we mourn my baby girl."
It’s been a long and difficult road for the Brown/Houston family for the past six months, and sadly Bobbi Kristina Brown died on Sunday (July 26).
The 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found face-down in a bathtub on January 31st by her boyfriend Nick Gordon and a friend and she’s been under medical care and in a coma ever since.
It’s been a tough season for Bobby Brown and his family, given the declining health of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, but over the weekend he and his wife Alicia Etheridge received a little bundle of blessing.
The “My Prerogative” singer and his leading lady welcomed their second child on Saturday (July 11), a happy and healthy baby girl.
He’s no stranger to struggle, and Nick Gordon finally got some tough love from Dr. Phil during his recent appearance on his show.
The troubled boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown told his mother that it was hard enough to lose his adoptive mom Whitney Houston without also losing his lady love- “Mom, I lost the most legendary singer ever, and I’m scared to lose Krissy.” Dr. Phil jumped in, “What I want you to do is…” Gordon finished, “Go to rehab.”
She was taken out of her medically-induced coma yesterday (Feb. 25), but Bobbi Kristina Brown did not have the response her doctors and family had been praying for.
According to a family source, “She was taken off the drugs, but she began having violent seizures. She is being put back into a coma.” Despite signs of organ deterioration, TMZ reports that the 21-year-old could remain in the same state for a long period of time.
