She was taken out of her medically-induced coma yesterday (Feb. 25), but Bobbi Kristina Brown did not have the response her doctors and family had been praying for.
According to a family source, “She was taken off the drugs, but she began having violent seizures. She is being put back into a coma.” Despite signs of organ deterioration, TMZ reports that the 21-year-old could remain in the same state for a long period of time.
As the days come and go, doctors aren’t hopeful about Bobbi Kristina Brown's prognosis, but her family has a whole different take on the situation.
Shayne Brown, Bobbi’s cousin, told “Entertainment Tonight” he’s convinced that Miss Brown is “getting better. She’s progressing. Krissy will be good. Everything will be alright.” He also asks that everyone “continue to pray” for her speedy recovery.
Emotions are running understandably high in the Brown family this week as Bobbi Kristina Brown remains on life support, unable to breathe for herself.
And now the New York Post and TMZ have reported that Bobby Brown and his kin have decided to remove all medical aid from the 21-year-old woman on February 11th, the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston's death.
As she continues to fight for her life, Bobbi Kristina Brown's father Bobby Brown has released a statement via his lawyer Christopher Brown regarding his daughter’s marital status.
The attorney told Us Weekly, "We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina. To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon." Bobby also stated, "We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time."
Things still don’t seem to be going well for Bobbi Kristina Brown, as her spokesperson has issued an update regarding her medical condition.
The 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found unresponsive laying face down in her bathtub on Saturday (January 31) and the police have classified the incident as a “drowning.”
As she continues to fight for her life, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is on a ventilator and in a medically-induced coma, is said to be in stable condition.
Roswell Police Department spokesperson Lisa Holland told press, “I can’t comment on her condition because of medical privacy laws. I know she is alive and the only thing they would notify me of is if her condition changed.”
