Checking out next season’s forthcoming designer duds, Berenice Bejo was spotted at the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012 Haute-Couture Fashion Show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (January 25).
The Argentine-French actress looked lovely in a ruffled, cleavage-baring frock as she posed for pictures with the show’s designer, Elie Saab, ahead of his runway extravaganza.
As for her developing career as a big-screen actor, Bejo was recently nominated for the Best Actress Oscar for her role in “The Artist.”
Of the Oscar nod, the 35-year-old said, “I'm overjoyed and filled with happiness. I can't believe that a year ago I was learning how to tap dance and today I am nominated for an Academy Award. It was a thrill to work on a project as ambitious as ‘The Artist’ and I am happy to share this moment with our visionary director, Michel Hazanavicius."
As for what she'll be wearing on the red carpet, Berenice told THR, "I don't want to overdo it. But more importantly, I want Michel to love the dress more than my Globes dress. This is a lot of pressure. I want to surprise him! He won't see my Oscar dress till a few days before the show. It will be made for me, with many fittings - it's like our wedding all over again!"
