One Direction

It’s a huge day for One Direction fans, as Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall just announced their fifth album’s cover art and moniker.

On Tuesday (September 22) the “What Makes You Beautiful” crooners posted a video to Twitter with the exciting news along with the first single, "Infinity".

Wrapping up their On The Road Again North American tour, the members of One Direction offered up some heartfelt gratitude on Saturday night (September 12).

Harry Styles took to his Twitter account following his band’s gig at Gillette Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts, stating, “Thank you Boston. That was the perfect way to wrap up the U.S. Tour. Thank you to everyone who works to make the shows happen. Thanks for spending some time with us. It’s been an amazing tour, can’t thank you enough. Thanks for having us. All the love.”

There’s no telling what will occur at a One Direction concert, and unfortunately for Harry Styles an overzealous fan left her common sense at home on Tuesday night (September 1).

During the Lincoln Financial Field gig in Philadelphia, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Styles were getting ready to close the show with “Best Song Ever” when Hanna Cooke threw a pop can at Harry and hit him in the face, forcing him to leave the stage.

It’s been a long time since they’ve had any real time off, so the boys of One Direction have agreed to a year-long break once they’re done promoting their fifth album.

According to multiple reports, Liam Hemsworth, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson will part ways in March 2016 to pursue their own individual projects, which also means their fifth record won’t get a massive world tour.

Giving their fans an early surprise for the weekend, One Direction has released their music video for "Drag Me Down".

In the astronaut-themed video the hunky foursome can be seen training at NASA's Space Center in Houston, Texas.

9:14 am

Giving their fans an extra-special start to their Tuesday (August 4), the lads in One Direction showed up in Central Park, NYC for an appearance on “Good Morning America.”

Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis all looked to be in fine form as they sang their new single “Drag Me Down” as well as “Steal My Girl” and “Story of My Life” while thousands of fans cheered non-stop.

11:50 am

This morning (July 31) they dropped their first single following the departure of Zayn Malik and shortly thereafter One Direction set a new sales record.

“Drag Me Down” has become the fastest-selling single ever and is currently at number 1 in 80 countries, including the iTunes Singles Chart.

2:07 pm

Following months of adjusting to their new lineup as a foursome, the boys of One Direction have released their first single since the departure of Zayn Malik.

On Friday (July 31) Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles unveiled “Drag Me Down,” available on both Spotify and iTunes.

9:12 am

Earlier this year he quit One Direction in order to spend more time with his family and fiancée Perrie Edwards, but it seems Zayn Malik can’t stay away from the music industry.

According to insiders, the handsome singer was dropped from Simon Cowell’s Syco record label and has quickly retained new management as well as a new contract with First Turn Artists.

8:11 am

Earlier this year Zayn Malik left One Direction and now it sounds like the rest of the band is ready for a break.

According to Simon Cowell's interview with The Sun, “In terms of the band, they’ve got enough hits now they can take some time off and do some other stuff they want to do. Then I hope they’ll have a little bit of time apart and want to get back together again. It’s a fun job, but it’s absolutely their decision.”
