After a week of revealing the personal financial information of celebrities, the hackers have called it quits.
On Saturday (March 16) the group posted a message on their website, saying, "Hello everyone, this is our final message. Behind this jolly visage of rainbows and top hats, we are people. People with a preference for music, a preference for food; we have varying taste in clothes and television, we are just like you. Even Hitler and Osama Bin Laden had these unique variations and style, and isn't that interesting to know?"
Finding themselves victims of a serious invasion of privacy, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, and a host of other big names had financial information hacked and released on the Internet.
According to TMZ, one website posted social security numbers, mortgage amounts, credit card info, car loans, banking, and other data about celebs and political players including, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Joe Biden, Robert Mueller, Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck.
